Last week I had the honor to present the Forum Group Scholarship at Nevada State University. I appreciate Dr. DeRionne Pollard’s partnership and applaud her visionary leadership as president of the university. Nevada State provides a quality education to first-generation students, students of color, Dreamers, immigrants, and veterans. The Forum Group Scholarship supports the FAME (Facilitating African American Male Excellence) and Sankofa programs. Sankofa is designed to support student retention and recruitment. Together we shape tomorrow!
